Issraa Al Rayess (Jewelry Making & Design Instructor)

Born in Saudi, Graduate of the Princes Noura University of Riyadh with a degree in English Language and Literature. With an interest in academics, she acquired Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Linguistics for Translation while discovering her interest for jewelry making and design
Her curiosity drove her to move to Cairo, Egypt and join the Design Studio by Azza Fahmy (DSAF) in year 2017 to study jewelry, design and metalsmithing where she received her 2 years diploma in Contemporary Jewelry Making & Design.
During her studies she combined her passion and interest in both academics and jewelry by assisting in various jewelry and design courses at DSAF, she worked as an Assistant for various professors as well as expanding her skills & expertise by attending several overseas courses such as “Space Now” by Ruudt Peters.
Issraa has also participated in numerous national and international exhibitions such as Legnica Jewelry Festival SILVER in Poland and Athens Jewelry Week. Currently living in Cairo, she is part of DSAF faculty acting as one of the main teachers for various programs locally & regionally with a concentration in jewelry making techniques.
